Ms. Reiko, an empath and fortune teller, advised a police officer, Shougo Shimazu, not to marry his fiance, but they got married anyways and stated that he and his wife would face any challenges together. Later, Reiko revealed to Xin Hong and Xiang Ying that Shougo will be killed while he is on duty. Moved by Shougo's courage to face his future, Xin Hong and Xiang Ying decided to protect Shougo from that fate.
